Catering
Unlike many facilities, the Memorial Civic Center offers "open" catering to its lessees. This policy affords a number of benefits to the lessee, guests, and patrons. Namely, the lessee is permitted to choose its food provider from a list of "approved" caterers. In other words, you can select the caterer and/or restaurant best suited to your tastes and budget. The list includes more than 30 businesses boasting a spectrum of cuisines from seafood to pizza to Tex-Mex to American Continental.
The Food & Beverage department contacts all lessees a minimum of two weeks prior to the booked event. Should you require assistance prior to this time, please contact one of the Food & Beverage staff professionals listed below.
A 15% service charge is applied to all catering bills. In return for this charge, the Civic Center provides the caterer with access to all kitchen facilities, i.e. ice, ovens, warmers, walk-in freezer, dishwashers, and tables. The service charge applies to all catering, even drop-offs by certain caterers.
